Ian Dooge - Managing Director
Ian got the Aviation bug in 1987 when he started working for Gatwick Handling as a Traffic Officer at Gatwick Airport.
After a couple of years Ramp experience with large commercial jets Ian transferred over to the Executive handling department working at General Aviation terminal for Interflight an Air Charter Operator.
In 1991 Ian went to work for Jeppesen UK in the busy International flight service department and for the next three years learned all about flight planning and trip planning.
1994 Saw Ian leave Jeppesen UK with Tim Lester and joined Airdata Ltd, a UK based flight planning software developer, to start up a 24hour trip support department, Air Data Flight Operations Support (AFOS). Airdata was eventually acquired by Baseops International Inc of Houston Texas and AFOS became Baseops Europe Ltd.
In 2005 Ian moved to Air Partner Plc, a UK charter broker, to help set up another trip support department.
In 2006 Ian left and setup a new trip support company Flight-Assist Ltd. and has built the company up to be one of the leading Trip support companies in Europe.
Mike Woodhall - Director
After 3 years at Royal Holloway University of London, Mike began his aviation career; starting in 1997 as aircrew for Caledonian Airways, then with Virgin Atlantic from March 2000.
Mike left Virgin Atlantic in November 2003, and moved into trip planning by accepting a position at BaseOps Europe.
In September 2005 he was one of the team of specialists who left BaseOps Europe to introduce flight planning to Air Partner a UK charter broking company, where in August 2008 he was appointed Operations Manager.
In October 2009 Mike left Air Partner and joined Flight-Assist Ltd . Mike now runs Flight-Assist (Uk) Ltd the Sister company of Flight-Assist Ltd.
Tim Lester - Sales and Marketing Consultant
Tim's aviation career started in 1966, as an ATC Assistant at London Heathrow.
After a routine medical picked up an eyesight defect that limited his promotional prospects, he decided to move into airline operations. He spent 5 years with Lufthansa, before embarking on what was planned to be a working trip around the world.
He got as far as New Zealand in 1973 - where remained for the next 11 years.
Whilst there he was with Pan American in Auckland where his final position was that of Operations Manager. On his eventual return to the UK, he put his overseas experience to use as a Flight Planner with Memrykord Ltd, a subsidiary of Lockheed Dataplan.
After Jeppesen's acquisition of the company in 1989, Memrykord became Jeppesen UK.

He retired in 2007, but in late 2009 Ian Dooge tempted him back out of retirement to work as a International Operations Consultant at Flight Assist Ltd.
Tim is married with a grown up son and daughter, and is a "born again" Harley Davidson rider!
